Our neighborhood is over 11 years old. Please be mindful of the less often maintenance that is needed around your home (i.e. painting, fence repair), as well as the regular maintenance (i.e. mowing, edging, weeding – especially the flower beds)
Top Violations that can lead to warning letters and fines:
- Grass is too tall
- Not edging or trimming the yard
- Weeds in the yard and/or flower beds
- Boats, trailers and campers parked in front, back or side of house
- Fences that are in poor condition or have fallen down
- Fences that lack a near uniform color
- Paint peeling from the home or mildewed/discolored/dirty paint
- Unapproved construction or remodeling to outside of house without prior ARC Committee approval (You can find an ARC form on this website). If you have a question on what requires pre-approval, contact the management company or your Covenants for guidance.
- Construction of accessories to a yard that exceeds height limits (see Covenants for specifics)
- Signage in windows or yard
- Garbage/rubbish/old discarded doors, mattresses and furniture – There are plenty of donation sites that welcome your used items or the City dump located just south of Hwy 121 and Custer or you can call the City for bulk pickup.
- Working on your car for extended periods in the driveway or non-running cars in the driveway/street
