The Covenants for our community are not currently easy to read or understand. The board and the Covenants Committee have put a lot of man hours and resources in to having our Covenants document updated. We are working on finalizing the changes. These changes will be available for the home owners to review in Q2 2012. A vote will be held at the annual HOA meeting in Q4 2012 to incorporate the changes to the Covenants.

The changes need to be made for the following:

• Limit the amount of money the Board spend without a majority vote of the home owners
• Remove the cluase where it states the Board can be paid
• Remove outdated or limiting Covenants (i.e. HOA can’t communicating formally via electronic means)
• Remove errors in the Covenants (i.e. Referring to the HOA as condominiums)
